I don’t do small talk well.  I like to talk about important stuff, but I don’t like confrontation any more than the next guy, so I never seem to have the guts to bring up things that really interest me.  Instead I talk about mundane, silly things just to pass the time.  When my family gets together we talk about everything but politics or religion – those are totally off limits.  That is because some people get so emotional if anyone doesn’t think like they do.  How ridiculous is that?  But it seems like the norm these days.

So I decided to create a website where we could actually discuss important things.  The idea is that we should be respectful of each other, and kind.  We don’t all have to agree – we just have to want to present our thoughts and ideas humbly and sincerely, and with consideration of others.

This website is about what I consider to be THE most important subject of all…God. And it’s about Christianity, so I am coming from the viewpoint that Jesus is the Salvation of the world.

I do not have a degree in theology; nor am I a pastor.  I am an ordinary Christian who has known Jesus for a long time (although not always well), and an avid student of God’s story…the Bible.

My fervent desire is that somehow you will be touched by Him as you read my poor attempt to show Him to those who are seeking Truth.
